More interesting than TV ...

Last night we had an armed police raid in our road. My guess is they were after drugs. They have raided the same house already a couple of times in the last few weeks, but always during the day. This time they must have set up the road blocks very quietly about 8pm, as we didn't hear anything, although vans and police cars were blocking off the road directly in front of the house. Happened to look out of the window about 8.30pm and it was all in place and they were putting the first handcuffed and hobbled people into the van. From that time it went on for another 2 hours or so, with more and more people disappearing into the vans. I shall check the local news today to see if I can find out what was going on. One of the neighbours said this morning, that they found wads of money and some stolen cars. But I won't rely on that sort of information. People just make it up as they go along!

Today I will be meeting for a walk with both the dogs. P thought it was a nice idea to get another dog, although he is reserving his final decision until he has seen Pierrot. He also voiced his concerns, that Isis is already neurotic (my dog neurotic? NEVER!!!) and that it might get worse. Well, if everything goes well today, I will be doing the trial week with them both here. I think we can make a well considered judgment only then.

I have another date tomorrow in Cardiff. But I have already decided that I don't fancy the woman, but get along with her so well on MSN, that I do want to spend some time with her chatting face to face. As she might be going to Spain for a few months soon, she is also looking for a house & dog sitter for that time. And who wouldn't want to spend the summer months in rural Wales, with the sea not all too far away??
