Monday was a rotter of a day!!! Nothing went my way! Went to the bank to have a talk about my account, as for the whole weekend the cashpoint wasn't working and I can only use that particular one in walkable distance, as I only have a savings account with my bank. So, I walked there Saturday AND Sunday, just to find that it was either empty or broken. When I got to the bank on Monday, they whole bloody world had decided that they needed to see an advisor, so I didn't bother. But I do need to sort out a different card, the cashpoint breakdowns happen far too often. I'll have another go on Saturday. Then I went to the pet shop and managed to sweep the nice shop owners glasses off the till area and break them. She was very sweet about it and said, not to worry, she is insured. Pheww! I then went home with the bus, and nearly breaking my ankle when I stepped off it, completely missing the curb. At home 2 desperate dogs awaited me, very eager for mummy to take them out. To make up for me being out a couple of hours I decided the park was a good idea, as the weather was sort of holding up. When walking down the road, I in quick succession had a sharp pain between my breasts and on the left side on my chin. I realised I had been pelted by boiled eggs from a passing car! Unfortunately through the shock it was too late to get the full registration number when I turned around. However, I did see that it was a nice, new BMW! So not your usual hooligan little racer. I gather it was either a stolen car, or it was actually kids chucking those eggs, which in due course made me angry with the possible parent in the car. By the time I had gone through all these emotions and shouted at the top of my voice: You fucking wankers!!!, the incident had passed and I had to calm down and get on with the walk. Then in the park I let the dogs off the lead. Isis is very good when running loose, she does stay relatively close. But Pierrot, being half a border collie, just looooooves running around like a lunatic and saying hello to every dog possible ... even if they are at the other end of the park! He spotted 4 greyhounds in a fair distance and off he went. No amount of me calling his name did make him turn around. So I could just stand and watch. As he was saying his 'hi' to the dogs, one of them decided it didn't like him and they all started chasing him off - luckily into my direction. He was pounced upon a few times and rolled over but got back unscathed. One of the greyhounds didn't though, after a painful whince and a howling display of disdain, he/she just stood there, one leg up. The 3 women with the greyhounds walked over to the dog and investigated. I stood there for a while, seeing if I could assess the situation from the distance. I didn't want to take my dogs over as to not aggrevate the situation. After about 5 minutes I carried on with my walk, gathering that one of the women would have come over if it was serious. I didn't see them again until yesterday. Upon spotting them, I put Pierrot on the lead, I didn't fancy a repeat performance. But I stayed sitting where I was and noticed the women and dogs looking over. At that point I started thinking not very nice thoughts! They walked a bit closer and stood again. My thoughts getting more un-nice. Then they sort of circled around me, at which point I was thinking: "What the fuck now? You gonna beat me up, or what?" I found myself being quite angry! After about 10 minutes of them circling, the one woman came over to me and said: "Was that your dog who ran over to mine the other day? I just wanted to check he is alright?" Can you believe that????? Oh my, did I eat humble pie! I was flabberghasted and could only stammer: "Yes, thank you, he is fine!" She then proceeded to explain, that her dog wasn't and that he had torn a ligament, being at the vets as we speak. She pointed out that it was her dog's fault and I ate another big slice of the aforementioned humble pie. I expressed that I hoped her dog would recover quickly! Lesson I learned: Don't be so quick to taint people with your own negative brush!!!Ah yes, and the bug is still here. The nose is streaming, the cough is hacking, the temperature is soaring and I generally don't feel well. Luckily I have another doctors' appointment tomorrow. Initially for my skin, but will of course mention the 3-week flu!
I should be going to court now, but can't manage. Will have to phone and get another date AGAIN!!

Sorry you're feeling sick and had a bad week. I had a really bad one too but don't feel like writing it all down. Although it would make you laugh. It has to be downhill soon. Right?
