Would you believe it? Some sad fuck has grassed me up to Social Security for benefit fraud! When I heard that yesterday out of the mouth of my benefit advisor I really had to laugh out loud. "Ms S, it has been reported to our benefit fraud line, that you are earning money through online and market sales of craft items." Muuuhaaahaaa ... I have done ONE market where I actually took some money. Mind you, I didn't make any PROFIT! If you think, that a 30cm high crocheted item with all its details takes me about 40 hours to make and I am selling it for £20 ... where please is the profit???? Luckily the advisor did get my drift and agreed that I must have a skanky arsed ill wisher somewhere, and considering the information that was given to the hotline, it wasn't too difficult to trace back which source that came from: my formerly beloved xxx forum (*edited due to threat of complaint). And I even have a good idea, who it might have been that phoned. If you read that, you low life middle class scum, go fuck yourself or get a life ... oh no, life isn't available to you, you've probably sold that one down the river a long time ago. Anyway, I was seething with anger yesterday, that has passed. Now I can only laugh (acidic) at the poor person. Have a nice life .... NOT! How bloody sad must somebody be to begrudge me a talent which I am using to bring a smile to people's face? I can only shake my head. There goes another portion of my belief in the goodness of people. Shame ....

Oh dear...I don't know what happened. I know you haven't been on the Nomads lately, I thought that was just because you had moved on with your life. I can't imagine who would be miserable enough to do something like that.

ReplyDeleteI apologise about mentioning the forum, but I was livid at the time. I have taken the name out, as in general it does very good work and supports many people. Ok, so being threatened with complaint had something to do with it. I have now cut all ties with this particular site.
