Yes, in another 10 days I will be setting of for the (in)famous WOMAD festival, which will be held at Charlton Park, Wiltshire, this year. Don't really know how I am getting there yet (although I have offered the spare ticket to various people) nor how I am getting my workshop stuff there, but I am sure it will all be ok in time. I have one friend, who might come, depending on alternative arrangements for his teenage daughters, but I am wondering if I am asking too much for him to drive down from Norwich, just to get me and taking me to the festival. Ok, it's a free ticket and a meal a day, but if you wouldn't normally go to that particular festival, that is quite a lot to take on board. I have also asked around for cars to borrow, seems everybody is doing something on that weekend where they need their car. Why do I get the impression, they don't want to lend it out and just don't want to say so. I hate all this pussyfooting about! Clear answers/refusals are best, me thinks. Anyway, I will somehow get there on 23rd July and I WILL have a good time!!! I haven't been to WOMAD since the 80s, so I reckon it's time. Quite a good line up this year, some of my favourite world music, and even Peter Blooming Gabriel is making an appearance. I remember when we were recording in his studio, when he just started out being a producer rather than a performer. Oh those were the days ;-)

Another Cinderella Outing Coming Up

Fishy, I'm with you on just giving some straight answers but there were so many years when I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. It sounds like a good time. I hope that you enjoy all of it. Have a great day.
