... well not quite to Oz, but to Norwich. I feel I deserve a break, it's really become a daily grind round here and I am withdrawing too much. So I am packing up a dog and fill a rucksack and leave this afternoon on MegaBus to London, then carry on via rail to the city of Norwich in East Anglia. I have been there before, only briefly, on a working holiday with former clients (people with severe learning difficulties). We then actually stayed in a caravan in Great Yarmouth and visited Norwich for the day. I have also been through it a few times and always wanted to see the castle in a little more detail. It's an impressive square block! Impenetrable so to speak. In fact, I feel I have quite a lot in common with that castle. Otherwise, Norwich offers a river with nice parks as far as I can make out from pictures. And of course, I am looking forward to meeting my friend, who I literally only know from online chats (apart from a couple of hours when he popped in for a cuppa with another online friend), and also meeting his daughters. Actually, that bit is quite scary! Although, I usually do get on with young people, so maybe I should stop fretting.
Well, time to wash the pink hair dye off and take the mutts for a wander. I thought I should post here today, as a friend severely told me off last night for not keeping my blog up to date. But I haven't had much to say recently ... as I mentioned, the daily grind got me.

The daily grind can wear anyone out. Does Norwich have a lot of those cute Norwich terriers? I like them. Little dogs with a big dog mentality.
